Spray Awake was concieved by the makers of Sinus Buster capsaicin pepper nasal sprays, SiCap, LLC, a whole owned subsidiary of Dynova Laboratories, Inc.

Spray Awake was developed by Wayne Perry, a former self defesne instructor who accidentally discovered the medicinal power of hot peppers after being sprayed with live police pepper spray for a television demonstration. Perry was a fixture on the talk show circuit during the 1990s when he appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show. he went on to become an expert in natural capsaicin and by 2003, he launched Sinus Buster brand as the world's first hot pepper nasal spray. Today, Perry creates new products under the Dynova umbrella.
